It's Tag Weekend.....and some membership changes....

Here we go again.... this is 'tag' weekend, which means Ashlie and I will spend the next 2 days stuffing and packaging all tags to go out on Tuesday, Nov. 1st...right on time.... deadlines are crazy but they do keep us on track. If you are still interested in received the November kit you still have a day or two to order before we mail out on Tuesday!

As for other news.... beginning with this kit, we will no longer have '3 and 6 month' tag extension memberships.... the great thing about this is that you get to view the tags on the 15th of every month on our website and decide if you want them, if you do, you can purchase them before the 29th of each month to guarantee shipping by the 1st of the following month.

The question has been asked..... Why did you decide to discontinue longer memberships?
Well, Ashlie and I have been discussing the growth of Get Croppin' which has been great. We have a few divisions w/in GC.... Tags, Limited Kits, Other products, Scrapbooking Events and the annual Scrapbooking Yard Sale.... we decided that in order to continue to grow and offer a wider variety of designs and products we would not commit to such extensions on the tags which in turn allows us to produce more specialty kits while continuing to provide the tags and other items every month.
If you've ever been to one of our crops or attended the yard sale last year you know how GC works and we commit ourselves 100% to the project...which is what we are doing w/ the tags and other items....

well....on this end, we will be releasing our newest 'limited edition' kit probably next week, we are working on some samples....wait till you see this adorable kit! You'll love it for yourself or a great holiday gift!

Just dropping in!

Just wanted to drop in and say hello, and give everyone the status of Get Croppin'.... If you registered for the Feb. crop with Ali Edwards and are interested in taking additional classes please let us know asap as there are less than 10 spots left in each class....

The turn out has been awsome, and remember, you don't have to take a class to meet Ali!

Before this wonderful event arrives, we have another great crop coming, the November crop is on Nov. 11-12th. we have spots available if you are interested!!

November tags are up and selling like hot cakes.... and wait till you see our 2 new kits which will be available in the next 2 weeks.... you will love them!!!! They can be great Holiday gifts for your self of others!!

Wow is all we can say!!

Today was incredible!! At exactly 10am we opened the registration for the February ScrapBowl and Ali Edwards event.... the website went crazy....so busy... we had 1800 hits on our site which is huge for us and very exciting.... we received tons and tons of registrations.... classes are almost sold out but there are some spots still available, and also spots for the event are available... we just can't believe the response, we've got people from Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York registered.... can't wait till this event arrives.....


But before that we have our November event which will be a great way to close out our 2005 season... if you haven't registered yet, don't wait to much longer, this will be a great event, we are looking forward to it!

On another subject, finally some of the product we've been waiting for has arrived, the rest of it should be here early next week and we'll be able to finalize our newest kit....which will be great, as usual Ashlie is working on the designing of it.... can't wait till we get it all in so we can make sample kits to show you guys....

Tomorrow is the day!

Ok ladies.... tomorrow is the day that the registration for the Ali Edwards crop officially opens. Ashlie and I have been preparing everything on our end so that at exactly 10am (est) we open registration. On our end we will be together at my house on 2 different computers making sure everything goes according to plan and runs smoothly.... just to let people know that we accept payments via PayPal and Money orders/Checks.... today will be a bit chaotic finalizing everything but we are excited! Have a great one!

As usual Ashlie did an awsome job designing the November tags, just love them! Check them out! Pre-orders are being taken till Oct. 30th to guarantee the Nov. 1 shipping!!

New Update with pricing!

The response so far for this event has been amazing, we expect to sell out w/in a couple days of registration... we are scheduled to open registration on Thursday, Oct. 20th at 10am Eastern Time. Both crop spaces and class spaces are limited.....

Full Weekend Package: Saturday, Feb. 11 8am-1am and Sunday, Feb. 12 8am-4pm: $90.00
Saturday ONLY Package: Saturday, Feb. 11 8am-1am: $75.00
Sunday ONLY Package: Sunday, Feb. 12 8am-4pm: $50.00
* crop prices do not include classes.


Details on Classes:
All classes will be taught by Ali Edwards, and are 3 hours each, included in the class fee is all supplies (students need to bring basic class kit and any 'homework' which will sent out as the event gets closer). Each class is $60.00

*You are not required to take a class to come scrap and meet Ali! Classes are only offered to those scrappers attending the crop!*

Class #1: TODAY YOU
Saturday 9am - 12pm
Cost: $60.00
Is there someone special in your life that you would like to celebrate? A spouse, partner, child, parent or even yourself? Collect data (journaling & photo) over nine random days in their/your life and complete a mini-album in class. See homework for specific assignments before class. Bring your basic tools + a corner rounder.
Educational emphasis: developing a foundation, combining pattern papers, ribbons, becoming an observer of the everyday, and stamping.
Class Length: 3 hours


Class #2: PERSPECTIVE
Saturday at 2pm - 5pm
Cost: $60.00
What do you see in your world right now? Record your thoughts, your photos ... your very own "perspective" of 2006. See homework for specific assignments before class. Bring your basic tools + a corner rounder.
Educational emphasis: Going with the flow scrapbooking "you," journaling, rub-ons and collaging photos.
Class Length: 3 hours


Class #3: FAVORITE PHOTOS 2005
Sunday 9:30am - 12:30pm
Cost: $60.00
Display your favorite photos from 2005 in a thick chipboard spiral mini-album from 7gypsies. Students need to bring five, 5x7 photos - their favorite from 2005 - and basic tools.
Educational emphasis: combining pattern paper, painting, inking, photography, and transparencies.
Class Length: 3 hours

Quick Update on Ali Edwards Event!

We've received hundreds of emails regarding this event and we are just so thrilled about the response. Just to give you a quick update, Ashlie and I are working very hard to finalize the layout of the rooms for the crop and classroom, as well as Ashlie working on the website end for the information and getting ready for next weeks registration! We will have on our website more info no later than this Sunday which will include, info on area hotel, cost of the crop packages and cost of the classes being taught by Ali..... so keep an eye out on the web and I will also post it here.... thanks for your patience and your awsome support.

The week has started!

All tags were sent out right on time to members.... most of the bazzill kit orders were also sent out.... These bazzill kits have just been amazing.... we have sold out 4 times and are waiting for another shipment which will be here any day to finish up our current orders.... We ordered some cool paper....and items which will be used in our next limited edition kit.... we'll keep you posted...the ideas are still in our heads and we are ready to start playing with product to see what develops....

Our November event is quickly filling up.... don't forget to register for our last 2005 crop which will be great!!
